Rosemary bushes planted for Remembrance Day

The Pearl Beach Progress Association sold and planted rosemary bushes for its Remembrance Day ceremony last Friday, November 11.

The new grove of rosemary bushes replaced the bushes that were removed during the construction of new memorial at the Memorial Hall, said association vice-president Mr Malcolm Davison..

"The progress association has purchased a number of rosemary bushes.

"To cover our costs, we offered the community the opportunity to purchase a plant, and plant it in the name of their loved one during the ceremony on November 11.

Cost of the rosemary bushes was $20 each.

For further information, phone Mr Davison on 0407 100 120 or 4341 4040.
