Combined activities to be held on Wednesday
Woy Woy South Public School will combine Education Week and Book Week activities on Wednesday, August 31.
Classroom visits will start at 9.20am with parents and families visiting their child's classroom and seeing the work they have been doing this year.
A Book Character Parade will be held at 10am, with a theme of "dreaming with eyes open".
Students will dress as what we dream to be, with examples including teacher, astronaut and doctor.
Student will dress up as a character or costume that reflects their favourite book, including Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, When Henry Caught Imaginitus, Where the Wild Things Are and The Never-Ending Story)
The march will begin at the school hall and under the 3-6 Cola.
After the Book Parade, a morning tea picnic for K-2 children under the K-2 Cola and for 3-6 student on the oval (weather permitting).
A Blokes' Brekky will be held at 7:30am on Friday, September 2
"All dads, pops and any other special man in your child's life are invited to attend our Blokes Brekky," said principal Mr Matt Barr.
"We kindly ask all families who will be in attendance to check in using the QR codes displayed around the school."
