Coronavirus numbers drop by another 20 per cent
The number of active coronavirus cases on the Peninsula has dropped by around 20 per cent for the second fortnight in a row.
A total of 642 cases were recorded on Thursday, May 26, a drop of 19 per cent since May 12 when 790 cases were recorded.
Currently, 1.36 per cent of the population have coronavirus.
Since the started of the pandemic, more than 26 per cent of the population have had the disease.
A further drop of 15 per cent would bring the rate back to 548 cases, the lowest for the year recorded, last recorded on Thursday, March 8.
