Woy Woy Bay has 5G coverage

Woy Woy Bay is one of six suburbs on the Central Coast to have 5G coverage rolled out.

It has more than 50 percent geographic coverage from Telstra 5G, Telstra regional general manager Mr Mike Marom said on August 25.

"We've reached a milestone with our 450th Telstra 5G site on-air in NSW and we're reaching more and more people with the next generation of mobile technology," Mr Marom said.

The coverage map shows parts of Woy Woy town centre near the railway station also having reception.

The Optus coverage map shows 5G at Koolewong only just touching parts of Woy Woy Bay.
