Free passes to leisure centre
Central Coast Council is offering residents a one-day free pass to the Peninsula Leisure Centre.
Council director Ms Julie Vaughan said the pass aimed to encourage residents 'to get active".
"It also allows them to try out one of our leisure centres and see if they enjoy what is on offer, which may encourage short and long-term fitness goals," she said.
"Our leisure centres are there for everybody, regardless of age, ability or fitness level.
"We want everyone to be able to move their body in a healthy, fun-filled and family-friendly environment," Ms Vaughan said.
The free day pass can be downloaded from the Fit For Free website.
The pass may be used at any of the Council's six leisure centres and those using the pass go into the draw to win an annual membership to the centre of their choice.
The free day pass may be used until March.
