Department declines to provide information

The NSW Department of Transport has declined to provide information about the impact of the rail crossing accident at Woy Woy.

It did not answer a request for information about the number of trains affected or when services returned to normal, or a number of related questions.

Instead, the Department stated: "NSW Police are investigating the fatal incident involving a train at Woy Woy that occurred just after 11am on Monday.

"We will work closely with police throughout their investigation and will assist in any way we can."
