Man dies at Umina beach
A man has died at Umina Beach after suffering a suspected "medical episode" on January 9.
Emergency services were called to Umina Beach just before 2pm, following reports a 51-year-old man was suffering difficulties in the water.
The man was assisted by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, but died at the scene.
A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
The man's death is another in the Coast's and the State's drowning death toll for 2017, with 22 people having drowned in NSW waters, three on the Central Coast, since Christmas Day.
