Two-day Sydney excursion
Umina Beach Public School's Year 4 students recently went on a two-day excursion to Sydney.
The students were to experience some of Sydney's biggest attractions as well as learn about the city's illustrious history.
The school trip combined education with fun.
The first stop was The Rocks Discovery Museum where the students saw the remnants of the excavated Rocks district; which included some Aboriginal artefacts.
The bus stopped off at the Hyde Park Barracks to investigate convict history.
The children also visited the Sydney Observatory during their trip.
