Knockout softball

Boys from Umina Beach Public School competed in a knockout softball competition at Kitchener Oval, Ettalong, on May 4.

The Umina team was ultimately knocked out of the competition, losing their first round to Brisbania Public School with a 12-10 final score.

However, the team rallied in their second round match against Ettalong Public School, showing fine form and ending the match with a 31-8 point victory.

Event organiser, Ms Dufficy said the Umina boys displayed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork.
