History book is launched
The launch of Robyn Warburton's People, Place and Progress: A history of the Association at Wagstaffe and Pretty Beach book was held on Sunday, May 26, with over 100 people in attendance.
There were a number of speakers who each talked about the different decades and the issues that faced the Association.
Mr John Heron spoke about the 50s.
Cr Jim Macfadyen spoke about the 60s on film as he was unable to present.
Ms Bev Walther spoke about the 70s.
Mr Robert Bell summed up the 80s, followed by Fay Gunther who spoke about the 90s.
The new century was covered by Mr Graeme Anderson and this was followed by the official launch of the book.
