Students' spelling was above average
Students from Ettalong Public School have participated in the UNSW Global International Spelling Competition and performed above the state average.
Rian Hatfield, Noah Jovanovic and Torah Phillips all received a credit and placed in the top 25 per cent of the competition.
"This is a great result for our talented young spellers," said principal Mr Colin Wallis.
"This is a very challenging competition and it is pleasing to note that our students performed above state average."
