Senior award to Ros

Ros Greener of St Huberts Island was awarded an Australia Day Community award in the Senior category at a ceremony at Laycock St Theatre on Sunday, January 22.

For the past eight years, she has been a volunteer at the Peninsula Women's Health Centre at Woy Woy.

Ros initiated a weekly Walkie Talkie Group, a group of around 30 women who sought to maintain fitness and create new social links.

She got to know some of the best walking tracks on the Central Coast and was quick to welcome new members to the group.
