Funding request

Gosford Council has requested $750,000 funding from Regional Development Australia Central Coast to upgrade Mt Ettalong Reserve.

Should funding be provided, plans will include upgrading the lookout, installation of picnic tables, development of informational signage, installation of a fence and a gate, and restoration of regionally significant vegetation.

Other plans include promotion of the area as a nature-based recreation area and the monitoring of visitor and satisfaction levels.
