Umina wins cup a fourth time
Umina Public School has taken out the annual Rugby League Woy Woy Cup for the fourth time in five years.
The competition, run by the Country Rugby League and Woy Woy Rugby League Club, for Under-10s and Opens was held at Woy Woy Oval on September 15.
The Under-10s defeated Empire Bay, St John the Baptist, Woy Woy and Woy Woy South before again meeting Woy Woy South in the final.
Umina won the final, 12-6.
Umina's Open team defeated Ettalong, Woy Woy and Point Clare before being beaten by St John the Baptist, 12-4, in the semi final.
"Umina's good results meant that they retained the Woy Woy Cup for the third straight year," school staff member Mr Chad Wootton said.
