Preserve dunes and view?

Of course council had to use machinery when they went about demolishing the old toilet block and clearing the vegetation from the Ettalong foreshore.

They should bulldoze the lot and plant more suitable shrubbery there.

The vegetation all along The Esplanade is overgrown with weeds, cactus kikori and other noxious plants.

If this is the best plan for dune care then someone needs a reality check.

Why can't everyone enjoy the view along this beautiful stretch of waterway?

And no, I don't live on The Esplanade but walk and drive along it nearly every day.

Isn't there a better way to preserve the dunes and still enjoy the vista?
