Grasses workshop
Gosford Council will hold a free Grasses Workshop in Woy Woy today, October 27, aimed to educate participants in the physical structure and difference between grasses and rushes.
The workshop will teach the basic understanding of the physical structure of grasses, basic keying skills, identifying local grass species and the difference between grasses and sedges.
Participants will also have the opportunity for a short bushwalk to practice identifying grasses and keying out.
The workshop will begin from 12.30pm at Woy Woy Library.
Participants are asked to bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
Lunch will be provided on the day.
Woy Woy Library is located on the cnr Blackwall Ave and Oval Ave, Woy Woy.
