Barbecue aims to educate

The Paws on the Coast opportunity shop in West St, Umina, will be holding a barbecue on Saturday, July 4.

The aim is to educate people on the importance of caring for and respecting native wildlife and their habitat.

"Wildlife Arc members will be at the shop to raise funds and awareness for their charity," shop manager Ms Jody McKinnon said.

"They will be bringing a couple of animals with them.

"They will be hoping to sign up some new members for Arc and educate people on the importance of caring for and respecting our native wildlife and their habitat."
