Traffic concerns

Petitioners in Hardys Bay have asked Gosford Council to push forward with the Hardys Bay Foreshore Master Plan to fix traffic safety concerns at the southern end of Araluen Dr near Heath Rd, Hardys Bay.

Seven petitioners stated that they were concerned for the safety of themselves, pedestrians and their properties due to the turning circle in front of their homes.

They stated that some residents in the area had sustained damage to their property due to people "driving recklessly through the turning circle".

The petitioners asked council to push forward the Hardys Bay Foreshore Master Plan or to fix the traffic safety concern as a separate issue by providing kerb and guttering as a possible solution.

Council has referred the request to its Maintenance Services directorate.
