Andrews is disappointed

Member for Gosford Ms Marie Andrews said she was disappointed over Gosford Council's decision to keep the name Spike Milligan Bridge.

"I am disappointed that council has not taken into consideration the number of residents who are upset about the naming of the bridge over Woy Woy Inlet," Ms Andrews said.

"Residents were telling me they were not aware they had the opportunity to suggest names for the bridge.

"Most were happy to keep the name Woy Woy Bridge, as that is how residents were referring to it leading up to its completion in the New Year."
