Show youth inside prison

There are too many assaults, burglaries and stabbings on the Peninsula.

Too many local youths are going to court and ending up in prison.

A wonderful program exists in Victoria, whereby young offenders are shown around prisons and told by inmates exactly what occurs "inside".

These inmate talks included the beatings, rapes and regular murders that occur in jail.

The Victorian Young Offenders Program is a very successful one and it should be a regular occurrence on the Central Coast.

Local schools can also include the video of this program.

Discussions about what occurs in prison are a wonderful deterrent.

These discussions need to occur in all Central Coast High Schools.
