Sporting trials

Students from Woy Woy South Public School have been attending sporting trials and attempting to qualify for zone and regional sporting teams over the last few weeks, with recent success.

Guy Mason (opens) and Wade Hannell (11s) secured positions with Sydney North Rugby League teams.

The two students will participate in state carnivals at St Marys and Cudgen respectively.

The school's rugby league teams competed in the Woy Woy Rugby League Cup recently.

The school's open team made the final where it was defeated by St Johns.
