Concerned neighbours

Gosford Council has received a petition with three signatures from the neighbours of 39 South St, Umina Beach.

They were concerned that the proposed two-storey development will "not only reduce their standard of living but also impact negatively on their property values".

The petitioners have asked council and the developer to meet with them on site to discuss their concerns and "hopefully work towards a development at 39 South St that will not only be profitable for the developer, but also acceptable to existing residents".

The petition was forwarded to council's development department.
