Pole replaced

Energy Australia has replaced a leaning power pole with a new light pole, as part of a project to underground power in West St, Umina.

Umina resident Mr Ed James reported the leaning pole recently.

"Energy Australia was reasonably quick in removing a dangerous power and lighting pole," he said.

"It was well on its way to becoming a statistic, after earlier excavation had destabilised the sand at its base.

"Thank you, Energy Australia."
