Sheryll is recognised as quiet achiever

Ms Sheryll Williams has been recognised "for being the quiet achiever, who always gets the job done".

She was voted for a "Peer of the Quarter" award by her workmates at the Ettalong Diggers Club.

Bays brigade seeks volunteer fire fighters

The Bays Rural Fire Service brigade is seeking more volunteer fire fighters.

The brigade has held a "Get Ready Weekend" for the start of the fire season - "talking to our local community about fire safety and preparedness for the pending summer".

The brigade has invited local residents to have a chat about volunteering their time to help protect their community.

"Your time will be valued by The Bays rigade and our local residents."
