Rotarian celebrates 80th birthday

A foundation member of the Rotary Club of Umina Beach has celebrated his 80th birthday will fellow club members.

Past president Mr Tom O'Connor joined other members at Hardwicks on Blackwall cafe at Woy Woy.

"We're there every Thursday morning at 10:15 am," said club president Mr Dave Tanare.

"Come along and join us."

Award for best light fruit cake

Ms Pam Clifton was the winner for the best Light Fruit Cake in the cookery competition at the Woy Woy branch of the Country Women's Association recently.

Second place went to Ms Wendy Smith and third place to Ms Di Spinks.
