Author to talk at Woy Woy library

Author Lauren K McKellar will chat with fellow writer Karina May about her latest book The Calendar Mums at an author talk on Thursday, April 10.

The book is described as a gorgeously warm, funny and heart-breaking book about what it means to be a mother.

Karina May is author of the novel That Island Feeling.

The talk will be held at 10:30am on April 10 at Woy Woy Library.

Craft and chat at Woy Woy CWA

Woy Woy branch of the Country Women's Association holds a craft and chat session every Wednesday, except the fourth Wednesday of the month.

That fourth Wednesday is the branch's business meeting.

One member brought in her finished quilt, showing hours of patience, with applique and embroidery.

With the association's "country of study" being South Korea, the Republic of Korea, traditional Korean clothing was also on display.
