Federal Member inspects government-funded project

Member for Robertson Dr Gordon Reid has inspected Beach St, Umina, after it received an upgrade to its road pavement, including minor widening, and a disability compliant bus stop.

Dr Reid said the work occurred because of funding provided to Central Coast Council from the Federal Labor Government.

He said the project was funded by the Australian Government's $40 Million Central Coast Local Roads Package that he had secured.

He said Beach St was one of 46 roads in the region to receive funding.

"I am pleased that Beach St is one of the roads to receive funding."

Celebrating productive week with a cheesecake

Member for Gosford Ms Liesl Tesch said she had "a productive week supporting our community" after moving to new premises in Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy.

She said her team celebrated with a "scrumptious" home-made blueberry cheesecake.
