Council grants $7500 to Peninsula projects
Three Peninsula projects have received a total of $7559 in the latest round of the Central Coast Council community grants.
Mingaletta Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation at Umina Beach will receive $4000 for its traditional music and dance program for aboriginal youth.
The Bays Community Group at Woy Woy Bay will get some help with paying the rates with a subsidy of $739.21.
The Wagstaffe-Killcare Community Association has been granted $2820 to go towards the cost of staging the Australia Day Recognition 2020 event.
The community grants program provides up to $5000 per project each year in funding or in-kind Council services to not- for-profit organisations.
This round will see $23,461 shared among recipients across the Coast.
