Gamer tournament comes to Woy Woy

A Woy Woy shopping centre will host the first heat of the inaugural Central Coast's Ultimate Gamer Tournament in January.

Deepwater Plaza will host the first heat of the tournament from 4pm to 7pm on January 31.

The tournament will be open to 12 to 24 year olds who want to test their gaming prowess in the console games FIFA 2017 and Sonic All Stars Racing.

The event features a total prize pool of more than $2000, with heat winners going onto compete in the semi-finals.

Entry is free and is open to all Central Coast residents within the age bracket.
