Fire near Blackwall Mountain
A bushfire near Blackwall Mountain was attended by fire fighters from Fire and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service on Friday, July 20.
The fire was burning in hard-to-access bush at Blackwall Mountain but it was successfully contained by the crews in attendance.
There was no immediate threat to property and the fire was described as burning slowly down the hill until contained.
Crews remained on the scene for some time to black out the area.
