Apprentice completes jewellery certificate

An apprentice working with a Umina-based jeweller has completed her Certificate III in Jewellery Manufacture.

Ms Danielle Shay from Seaspray Valuations and Fine Jewellery has travelled to the Design Centre Enmore once a week for the past three years and has been working under the guidance of Seaspray's master jeweller, Mr David Mitcheson.

Ms Shay was nominated for the Consistent High Standard of Work (Trade) award at the One Night Under Lights 2017 awards where the work of all the graduating students was on display.

Ms Shay's major work has been on display in the front window of Seaspray Valuations and Fine Jewellery and will be viewable until December 22.
