Local schools meeting

Umina Public School principal Ms Lyn Davis will attend a meeting in Sydney on Monday, July 23, for the 229 schools involved in the Empowering Local Schools National Partnership.

Phase one will focus on increased decision-making in three areas considered important in enabling schools to make decisions about how best to improve teaching and learning comprising governance, funding and infrastructure and the workforce

The school received $50,000 to support its participation in this initiative.
