Teacher attends conference

Ettalong Public School assistant principal Mr Jes Zammit has attended the Stronger Smarter Conference in Kurri Kurri last month.

Mr Zammit, who is also the school's specialist literacy-numeracy teacher, joined four other members of the Brisbane Water Learning Community in attending the eight-day conference.

School principal Mr Colin Wallis said: "I attended the conference in 2009 and found it invaluable for enhancing my knowledge, people management skills, and in understanding and appreciating the Aboriginal culture."
