Refurbished centre to open

St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School will be celebrating the official opening of its newly-refurbished Multipurpose Learning Centre on Friday, July 20, at 11am.

Member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd will officiate the ceremony.

School principal Ms Helen Creen said the project would not have been possible without a $46,000 Federal Government grant to the school.

"All parents and friends of our school are invited to attend the official opening.

"Please mark this date in your diary as it is a wonderful opportunity for us to gather and celebrate."

Other Peninsula schools to have received grants from the Federal Government program include Umina Public School, Ettalong Public School and Pretty Beach Public School.
