Donations wanted

The Empire Bay Progress Association is asking for donations for its Christmas Hamper Raffle and Christmas Eve lollies for the children in the area.

Donations can be made at the Empire Bay newsagency.

The Progress Association will start the hamper with a half ham voucher, coke, drinks, chips and some other Christmas fare to the value of $100.

A representative of the progress association said that tins of fruit other hamper items were required.

Money raised from the hamper raffle would go to community facilities such as the War Memorial and the Progress Association hall.
