Swimming success

Umina Public School students had success in the Sydney North Swimming Carnival held at Homebush recently.

Ten Umina Public School students represented Woy Woy Zone at the Sydney North Swimming Carnival.

The students were Teigan Miller, Ryan Jewiss, Madeleine Carr, Joel Denniss-Hall, Ryan Moate, Ryan Egglestone, Jack Irving, Kelsea Manuel, Natalie Tisdell and Madison Roots.

Some results on the day included Teigan Miller qualifying for the Junior Girls Butterfly and the Senior Boys Relay team of Joel, Ryan, Jack and Ryan also making the final.

Student Joel Denniss-Hall also qualified for the State Carnival after finishing third in the Senior Boys Butterfly.
